X Factor celebrity duets and Final format revealed! 2

With four acts going into the final for the first time this year, the choice of duets will have a major bearing on the outcome – especially as one contentant will be eliminated from the show on Saturday before making it to Sunday’s instalment.

This weekend the contestants will sing a number of tracks, including a celebrity duet, their original audition song and their favourite performance from the series.

But due to the way the eliminations will work, not all of the contestants will get the chance to perform all of their songs! Saturday’s show will also see the final 16 reunited for another group performance.

With all that in mind there’s been many rumours about which celebs are set to appear on this weekend’s X Factor final.

And after Beyonce’s appearance with Alexandra Burke 2 years ago, followed by George Michael and Joe McElderry’s duet last year, the pressure is on Simon Cowell and the producers to produce the goods again this year!

Rebecca Ferguson will be perfoming with Christina Aguilera on Saturday's Live X Factor final

Many celebs’ names have been doing the rounds on Twitter and Facebook, including Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne and Justin Bieber.

But our ‘man in the know’ down at the studio has secretly revealed the duets combinations which he has described as ‘very likely’ to come off…

Scouse star Rebecca is set to team up with Christina Aguilera and will sing ‘Beautiful’. This could prove to be a show-stopper of Alexandra / Beyonce like proportions and will certainly generate some additional support for Rebecca.

Dannii Minogue has apparently has been fighting to get Christina for Matt, but has failed. Instead Matt looks likely to be singiong alongside Rihanna, in what too could be the song which makes him ‘uncatchable’ when the phone vote kicks in. He is also set to reprise his performance of Amy Winehouse’s ‘No Good’ as his original audition song.

Red-hot favourite Matt Cardle, who must be excited at the prospect of sing with Rihanna in the Final

Rumours for One Direction are Robbie Williams (or maybe the whole of Take That – who are also confirmed to perfom on Sunday’s show). As the group were formed at bootcamp they don’t have an audition track, so it’s likely they’ll be singing ‘Torn’ by Natalie Imbruglia from judges’ houses

Poor Cher is already to be rumoured to be way behind and is left with Will.I.Am – who unfortunatley will not be enough to give her a chance of winning if the bookmakers are anything to go by.  Cher’s original audition song will be ‘Turn My Swag On’.

Final lineups and latest bookmakers odds:

Matt Cardle and Rihanna – 10/11
Rebecca Ferguson and Christina Aguilera – 11/4
One Direction Robbie Williams (or Take That) – 7/2
Cher Lloyd and Will.I.Am – 33/1

We are well and truly in love with Matt (the hat) Cardle and we can’t see anyone standing in his way. Who is your money on?!

So it looks like our predictions were spot on!

All 4 celebrity duets – tick
Matt to win – tick :)

Don’t think any of us could have possible predicted Christina Aguilera or Rihanna’s raunchy performances though!
